The Journey To Parenthood: Part Four.
Deacon walked through the doors of Titan Gym, with a different air about him. He signed into work, smiling and looking to see if he had any one on one courses. "Patrick called in sick, he had to cancel his appointment." The lady behind the counter, Lila, said seeing the man. "I see, I have no one else to train today. Best to get in a good workout though." He looked up from the list to see the woman look at him with worry.
"What's wrong?" He asked.
"I should be asking that, you're practically beaming. You're not going to breath fire on the equipment this time are you?" The cobra asked. The last time the man was in a joyous mood.... Well, long story short the gym had to replace half of their equipment with the charred ones. "I'm good. No, great actually." It took a moment for Lila to hear these words and not panic before nodding with a smile. "Well, good. Nice to see that Titan Gym's Deacon doesn't have a stick up his ass." Deacon chuckled, not bothered by the joke as he went to the locker room.
He was tieing up his workout shoes as he saw Sheen walk in, green dufflebag in arm. "Yo, D! How's it goi- Oh shit, your gonna set this place on fire aren't you!?" He asked taking a few steps back. Deacon laughed rolling his eyes, this not helping the red were man one bit.
"No, I'm just happy." Deacon answered. Sheen adjusted his hat, did the man ever even once take that off? "I'm not sure you even know what that is, but whatever floats your boat man. What has you so... 'Happy' about?" Deacon's eyes rolled hearing the man stress the word. Somehow the purple haired dragon had manage to fool the world into thinking he wasn't capable of happiness if it didn't come with a price.
Another busy day at The Drunken Reaper as Camille finished beating up what was now the thirteenth aggressive punk who decided to muscle his way into VIP, all because his name wasn't on the list. One of the other bouncers switched shifts as she went into the grand club of booming music and men. As soon as she reached the bar, the phone rang.
"The Drunken Reaper." The chameleon answered, pouring herself a glass of scotch. "Camille, its Tyr. And boy are you in for a surprise."
Meanwhile, Sheen was just told of how his friend was a father to be, of how his husband was pregnant. "You aren't surprised that a man is pregnant?" Deacon asked ad he picked up a one hundred fifty pound dumbbell, same as the other man. "No. I turn human on a full moon. Remember? So, it'll take a lot for something to surprise me." The man had a point. Apparently Sheen was bitten by an infected human who carried a virus causing what was a transformative gene. For some reason, he only becomes a human on the full moon. "You'll probably get more of a shock from Ozzy though." Sheen said, Ozzy being Osiris' nickname to him.
Little did they know, word had already been spread like a common cold.
