How To Save A Life.

(Fanfiction for Ephorox. Pairing is of his OC's Jacob and ME. Also includes my OC, Osiris.)

"Jacob!! Jacob!!"

ME stood over his gryphon lover's cold bleeding bleeding body. He brought the man's body closer as tears fell from Monkey's eyes, sobbing uncontrollably. He looked to see the crowd of demons, crying and roaring in laughter at the sight before them.

Suddenly, the sound of a blade slicing through flesh stopped the laughter as the demons fell one by one by the grim reapers scythe. Suddenly, an ocean of black flames flooded over the monsters as their cries filled the air, their bodies withering away into nothingness.

Osiris saw ME cradle his boyfriends lifeless body in his arms, tears falling endlessly. "He's dead... He's dead...." was repeated over and over again like a mantra. Osiris stepped towards the man, placing a hand on his shoulder. "He's gone..."

The wolf was silent for a moment before he spoke. "Death is inevitable. No matter how unbearable." Monkey's sobs became more vocal as he heard these words. "However, Jacob's death was not to be fallen upon him at this time. This...error cannot be allowed to stay."

Monkey looked at the other man, his eyes widened with tears streaming down his cheeks. "You-You mean..." The wolf smiled at his friend, nodding seeing the man become filled with hope. "Stand back." Osiris instructed and ME obeyed, standing up and stepping away from Jacob's corpse.

The air suddenly became cold, like a blizzard of souls. Osiris' red eyes glowed brighter as he suddenly spoke in an unknown language. Suddenly, a chant filled the air from the reaper.

"Archangels, beloved children of the creator
Allow the soul of this creature to return to the vessel once more
Strings of fate and hands of time
May you play a tune raise the life taken
So he may one day return to the paradise that awaits him"

The clouds broke from the sky as beams of blinding gold light shot down onto Jacob as the beams entered his body. As the rays dispersed, a stifled moan came from the gryphon. ME rushed to the man, picking him up into his arms. "Jacob. JACOB say something!"

"......Ow."

The reaper and monkey couldn't help but laugh. ME kissed his reborn boyfriends as fresh tears of happiness ran from his eyes. "You aren't allowed to die on me! You hear me!?" Monkey said, almost ordered. Jacob saw the red puffy eyes on his lover and brought a hand to his face and smiled. "I promise."
